Maintenance bypass panels
A bypass lets the load run on raw mains while the UPS is serviced or replaced — no downtime for the equipment, no live work for the engineer. For any installation the business depends on, we treat a bypass panel as standard practice, not an option. Retrofitting one later means a scheduled outage that a two-hour inclusion at install time would have avoided.
Battery cabinets and racks
A battery bank is safe and serviceable only if its cabinet is right: ventilated, correctly fused, with cable cross-sections sized to the current. We size and supply cabinets with the battery installation, including the interconnects, and match them to the floor space and loading available.
Distribution boards and protection
UPS input/output distribution with surge protection and isolation switching — the part of the installation that determines whether it passes inspection and survives a real fault. Sized to the actual load and the upstream supply, not to the UPS nameplate.
Cabling and terminals
Battery-to-host and host-to-cabinet cabling, sized by current and run length, with the right terminals. Undersized battery cabling is one of the most common causes of mysterious voltage drop under load — and it is invisible until the first real outage.
All of the above are quoted and installed together with the UPS they serve — specify them during the site survey rather than after. The standard items we carry are listed in the table above; anything beyond them is fabricated or sourced to the site's requirement.
