When a "no-name" answer is the right one

Not every installation needs a brand-badge UPS. For a shop, a small office or a storage room with a rack of network gear, a generic online unit sized correctly will outperform a brand unit sized by guesswork — at a noticeably lower price. We supply these models project by project:

  • Santak / Vertiv online UPS — mainstream Chinese-market brands with mature local supply and serviceable parts
  • High-frequency tower UPS — compact online double-conversion for SMEs and shops
  • Line-interactive tower UPS — the budget option where the mains supply is reasonably stable
  • Low-frequency UPS with isolation transformer — heavier, but far more tolerant of surge and poor grids; the standard answer for industrial sites

What we check before proposing one

  1. The load, measured or itemised. Generic ranges vary more between batches than brand ranges do — sizing against the actual load is what makes them reliable.
  2. The environment. Dust, heat and humidity rule out some generic units entirely; a low-frequency or industrial-rated model is often the cheaper choice over three years.
  3. Serviceability. We only supply generic models for which we can obtain parts and batteries locally — a cheap UPS with no service path is an expensive outage waiting to happen.

The DT1 series

Our own DT1 / DT2 / DT3K online UPS sits in this group: 1–3 kVA, LiFePO4 batteries, low-voltage output options for sites wired outside HK standards. It is listed with the THTAK line but supplied and supported on the same terms as everything on this page.

Sizing for any model on this page is free before quotation — send us the load list and we will come back with a configuration, not a catalogue page.
