Linked series open a full page with the model list, ratings and downloadable datasheets. Models not listed can also be supplied. Capacity and battery sizing should be calculated by an engineer against the actual load — never from the nameplate rating alone.
What VRLA does well
Sealed lead-acid remains the default for standby duty for good reasons: it is proven, safe, available in every capacity, and accepted by virtually every UPS on the market. In Hong Kong conditions, expect 3–5 years of service — less in hot, poorly ventilated rooms.
We supply quality brands (CSB, LEOCH, C&D) and — more importantly — we replace complete strings.
Why we never mix old and new blocks
A battery string performs like its weakest block. Mix one new block into a string of three-year-old ones and the new block works harder, ages faster, and drags the string's capacity down with it. The saving from replacing two blocks out of eight is usually undone within a year.
Our standard practice:
- Test the whole string's discharge behaviour before quoting — not just its voltage
- Replace the string as a set, same batch, same date code
- Record the installation date on the blocks so the next cycle is planned, not discovered
Choosing between the series
- CSB GP — the general-purpose 12 V block; widely interchangeable, common in small UPS and instrumentation
- CSB GPL — long-life design for machine-room strings and extended-runtime systems
- LEOCH DJ / DJW — small-capacity blocks for access control, CCTV and small UPS
- LEOCH DJM — medium-capacity blocks for mid-size strings and DC systems
- C&D DNTY / LBTY — telecom-grade consistency; LBTY for long-life duty

The fastest way to get a quote
A WhatsApp photo of the existing battery label — voltage, capacity, terminal type — plus a count of the blocks.
