UPS Repair & Maintenance
A UPS only matters on the day the power fails. Maintenance is how you make sure it works on that day.
Most UPS failures we attend share one root cause: nobody looked at the system for years. Batteries dried out quietly, capacitors aged, fans seized — and the first real test was the actual power cut.
Emergency repair
If your UPS is alarming, on bypass, or dead: call or WhatsApp +852 6948 2197. We prioritise emergency attendance. On site we diagnose the fault, and where a repair is possible we carry out common component-level work (fans, capacitors, boards) rather than pushing straight for a replacement.
We service most major brands — EATON, APC, Schneider, Santak, Vertiv and others — including systems we did not originally supply.
Preventive maintenance contracts
A typical contract includes scheduled visits (usually quarterly or half-yearly) covering:
- Visual and thermal inspection of the UPS and battery room
- Battery health testing — individual block voltages and internal resistance
- Alarm and event log review
- Transfer and bypass function test
- Firmware and settings check
- Written report with recommendations, so you can budget for battery replacement before it becomes an emergency
Why contracts matter
Reactive-only maintenance means the fault is discovered during the outage. Contract maintenance discovers it weeks earlier, at a fraction of the cost of downtime. For clinics, trading floors, and anyone with an SLA to their own customers, it is the difference between an incident and an anecdote.
Existing system? No problem
Taking over maintenance of a system supplied by someone else is routine for us — we survey what is installed, report its condition honestly, and take it from there. Ask about a free initial health check.
