EATON 93PM series three-phase online UPS
One range, several voltage versions — which is exactly where specifying goes wrong. Confirm the site's input and output voltage before the order, not after delivery.

Why the voltage version gets its own page
Because it is the easiest thing to get wrong and the hardest to fix in high-power UPS procurement.
A three-phase UPS is not plug-and-play. 208 V, 400 V and 480 V correspond to different distribution systems and different protection designs. Specify the wrong version and:
- The unit arrives and will not connect to the site distribution.
- You need an extra transformer, adding losses, heat and cost.
- Protection coordination has to be redone; breakers and cables may all be wrong.
- The schedule slips, and so does the date the room goes live.
There is one basis for the decision: the site's actual input voltage and distribution. That is why we ask for a single-line diagram or site photographs before quoting, and survey on site when it is warranted.
Five things we settle on a project this size
- Input voltage and distribution — single feed or dual? Is there a generator?
- Actual load and expected growth — today's figure, and the figure in three years.
- Redundancy level — single unit, N+1, or higher.
- Runtime target — waiting for the generator to start, or riding through a period.
- Maintenance arrangements — bypass, on-site staff, remote monitoring.
Only once these five are settled does a configuration mean anything. Skipping them and comparing prices lands you with a system that looks well specified and does not fit.
Key features
- Three-phase online double-conversion with the output isolated from the mains
- 208 V and 480 V versions, matching different regional distribution conventions
- High operating efficiency for machine rooms that run continuously
- Parallel redundant configurations supported
- Integrates with machine-room monitoring
- Suited to mid to large data centres and critical equipment rooms
Where it fits
A 208 V site distribution
Keep the existing voltage standard and avoid reconfiguring the distribution system.
A 480 V supply
For sites distributed at 480 V, with the full protection coordination that implies.
A mid-size data centre
Three-phase capacity without stepping up to a large modular frame.

The value of modular is not raw capacity — it is that a failed module does not stop you, and growth does not mean replacing the frame.
