The pragmatic choice for 8–30 kVA vessel projects
Small loads are well served by 9PX Marine. Once you are powering the whole bridge, engine-room monitoring or the main communications rack, past 8 kVA you are in 9155 territory:
- Parallel expansion — hot-sync paralleling supports four units. Add capacity when you need it, or build N+1 redundancy.
- Generator friendly — a 0.99 input power factor and low harmonics put a gentler load on the ship's generator, without the embarrassment of a generator alarm every time the UPS starts.
- Marine compliance — IEC 60945 and IP22 are routine acceptance requirements on vessel projects, and this unit meets them as standard.
Three things to confirm when you configure
- Input configuration — single-in/single-out (1:1) or three-in/single-out (3:1). It follows from the ship's distribution system and must be settled before order.
- Runtime — vessel projects usually specify a long discharge. External battery capacity and its location need planning early.
- Paralleling — whether you need redundancy (N+1) or capacity expansion changes the unit count and the wiring design.

Key features
- Complies with IEC 60945 for marine electronic equipment; internal components resist salt-spray corrosion
- Main cabinet rated IP22 for damp, humid spaces
- 8–30 kVA, single-in/single-out or three-in/single-out, output 220/230/240 V
- Static bypass plus a manual bypass switch, so maintenance does not mean dropping the load
- Input power factor up to 0.99 with low harmonics — it works with a ship's generator rather than against it
- ABM battery management extends battery life
- Hot-sync parallel technology, up to four units, so N+1 redundancy is a design option
- Compact footprint with a clear LCD interface
