SPRM1KL battery pack (36 V)
The original battery pack for a rack-mount UPS — replacing the whole pack is more reliable than assembling it block by block, and it lasts longer.

The practical case for a complete pack
"Is it not cheaper to buy six batteries and assemble them myself?" It is a common question, and the answer depends on total cost.
| Item | Complete pack | Self-assembled |
|---|---|---|
| Block consistency | Matched at the factory | Depends on the purchase batch; hard to guarantee |
| Connecting bars and terminals | Supplied as a set | Sourced separately; prone to poor contacts |
| Assembly time and risk | Drop-in replacement | Block-by-block assembly and checking |
| Risk of error | Low | Incorrect wiring can short or damage |
| Old battery handling | Collected by us | You handle controlled waste yourself |
Once working time and risk are counted, the price difference rarely supports self-assembly. Unless you have in-house technicians who can guarantee the quality, a complete pack is the more practical route.
Deciding when to replace
Do not wait for an outage to find out. The indicators are:
- Measured runtime more than 30% below the original design figure
- The pack has been in service 3–5 years, depending on ambient temperature
- Swelling, or corroded terminals
- Testing shows individual blocks significantly off voltage
Any one of those is a reason to schedule replacement rather than wait for complete failure. Batteries tend to fail at the worst possible moment, and planned replacement costs far less than an emergency call-out.
What we provide
Compatibility checking, on-site replacement, an actual discharge test before and after the work, and old battery collection. If you have several units of the same model, they can be scheduled together to avoid repeat visits. If it helps, it can sit under an annual maintenance contract under which we track battery health and prompt replacement at the right time.
Key features
- Manufacturer-specification pack for direct replacement in a rack-mount UPS
- Contains six 12 V 9 Ah blocks, assembled and wired at the factory
- Whole-pack replacement avoids the inconsistency of assembling individual blocks
- The standard replacement job on a rack-mount UPS
- Old battery collection included
Where it fits
Rack-mount UPS replacement
When runtime has fallen noticeably, a full pack change restores the original design figure.
Planned maintenance
Schedule replacement on age and measured capacity, rather than discovering a failure during an outage.
Several units at once
Units of the same model can be scheduled together, reducing repeat visits.
